Jes Staley

Massachusetts-born businessman and financial executive who served for over three decades as CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co. He also served on the board of the Institute of International Finance.

Before Fame

He studied economics at Bowdoin College, graduating with honors in the late 1970s. He began his career in finance at New York's Morgan Guaranty Trust Company.

Trivia

He served on the board of the Robin Hood Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to solving poverty-based problems in New York City.

Family Life

Both his father and his grandfather were business executives in the northeastern United States. Staley settled in New York City with his wife and his two daughters.
