Jerrod Carmichael

Comedian, actor, and writer who is known for his self-titled series The Carmichael Show and for voicing a lead character in the animated series Lucas Bros Moving Co. In 2022, he gained critical and audience recognition for his comedy special Rothaniel. 

Before Fame

His first comedy performance in Los Angeles was at an open mic at the historic Comedy Store.

Trivia

He released his stand up special Jerrod Carmichael: Love at the Store on HBO in 2014. It was, incidentally, his first ever televised performance.

Family Life

He was born to parents Cynthia and Joe Carmichael. He has a brother named Joe Jr. He relocated to Los Angeles in 2008.

He made an appearance as Garf in the Seth Rogen film Neighbors.
