British artist and designer best known for creating the comic book series, "Tank Girl." He also co-created the virtual band, Gorillaz.

Before Fame

He stocked shelves at a local grocery store. He met Alan Martin and Philip Bond while attending Northbrook College in Worthing, and together, the trio created the "Atomtan" fanzine.

Trivia

He became famous for such series as "Hewligan's Haircut" in "2000 AD" issues 700 to 707 and "Shade, the Changing Man" for DC Comics.

Family Life

He married French presenter and actress Emma de Caunes in 2011. He has children named Rocky, Denholm and Nina.

Associated With

He and Damon Albarn collaborated in 1998 to form Gorillaz.
