Before Fame

He studied theatre at Missouri Southern University and went on to receive his MFA degree in acting from UCLA.

Trivia

He helped found the Los Angeles Theatre Ensemble and also performed in the lauded L.A. theatrical production of Kindred.

Family Life

He spent his early childhood in Texas and Colorado and moved to Missouri with his mother and sister in the early 1990s.
