Jamal Hill

American Paralympic swimmer, athlete, Instagram star, online content creator, and social media personality who won a bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Paralympics. He has a popular Instagram account that's called swimuphill. Thus far, it's earned 250,000 followers.

Before Fame

He began swimming after taking swim lessons as part of a YMCA Mommy and Me program. When he turned 10, he was diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, which led to him being partially paralyzed for a number of years. During high school, he decided to push through his fear and resumed swimming. 

Trivia

He is the founder and president of non-profit organization Swim Up Hill. He has also been the managing director of media company Aquatics Today. On his Instagram, he has often posted a mix of swimming content and motivational content.

Family Life

He was born in the United States. He has been based in Los Angeles.
