Jake Rogers

Professional back-catcher that was drafted by the Houston Astros during the third round of the 2016 Major League Draft. He was later acquired by the Detroit Tigers via trade in August 2017. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at Tulane University.

Before Fame

He first began his professional career playing for the Tri-City ValleyCats. After 25 games, he was then promoted to the Quad Cities River Bandits.

Trivia

He made his major league debut playing against the Los Angeles Angels on July 30, 2019 as a member of the Tigers. He finished the game hitting 2 for 4 with a run batted in.

Family Life

He grew up living with his family in Canyon, Texas. He is one of four siblings.
