American baseball player who is recognized for playing the shortstop position for the University of Mississippi's Ole Miss Rebels. He was a member of the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team. He was the second player in Ole Miss history to be ranked All-American as a freshman.

In his youth, he played in the Glendora American Little League. He played for the SGV Hustle as well. 

Trivia

He played both football and baseball while attending Glendora High School. In high school, he batted .390 with 119 hits, four home runs, and 74 RBIs. He shares his attempts at tossing a bat down with the goal of it bouncing up and standing on its own on his jake.jjg TikTok account, which has gained 130,000 followers and 2.6 million likes. He got recruited by the Ole Miss baseball team and joined in 2021.
