Jack Churchill

British war hero who was a soldier during World War II and was armed with a longbow and a Scottish sword. He received two awards of the Distinguished Service Order before his retirement in 1959.

He worked as a newspaper editor after serving in Burma with the Manchester Regiment.

He played a small role in the 1924 film The Thief of Bagdad.

He married Rosamund Margaret Denny in March 1941 and they had two children.
