Before starting her music career, she graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University and started working as a dance instructor and anchor for Billboard China. Universal Music Hong Kong chose her to be an anchor for UMWebzine.

In the year 2016, she began uploading singing covers on her YouTube account, JengJace. The "Long D" song, which she released in the year 2022, was composed by pop singer Jay Fung.
