J. Anthony Lukas

Pulitzer-winning journalist who wrote the immensely successful novel Common Ground: A Turbulent Decade in the Lives of Three American Families in 1985.

Before Fame

He studied at Harvard University, where he wrote for the school paper, The Harvard Crimson. He matriculated in 1955.

Trivia

In 1968, he was presented with the Pulitzer Prize for Local Investigative Specialized Reporting. His article, The Two Worlds of Linda Fitzpatrick, was published in the New York Times.

Family Life

He was born and raised in White Plains, New York.

Both he and architect Thom Mayne studied at Harvard University.
