Isla St Clair

Scottish singer who won acclaim for folk albums like 1979's Isla and 1993's Inheritence. She was also the co-host of the BBC game show The Generation Game, for which she won the Pye Colour Television Award for TV Personality of the Year.

Her earliest performances were with the Salvation Army in northeast Scotland.

Her birth name is Isabella Margaret Dyce. Her mother was poet and songwriter Zetta Sinclair.
