Isaac Witkin

About

South African sculptor who pioneered the so-called New Generation of sculptors. He made abstract works of colored fiberglass and wood.

Before Fame

He graduated from St. Martins and then apprenticed with sculpture great Henry Moore.

Trivia

He is probably best known for his piece Wild Iris, which was put on display in the Delaware Art Museum.

He had two daughters.
