Motion picture composer responsible for writing the soundtracks for Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. He received an incredible amount of fame for his composition of the Naked Gun film series soundtracks in the early 1990s.

Before Fame

He attended New York University where he earned a music degree in 1972. He played a 1940s bandleader in "Xanadu," the infamous musical from 1980.

Trivia

He became best known for composing the music to the "Naked Gun" series, which starred Leslie Nielsen.
