Professional offensive that was drafted with the sixth overall by the Carolina Panthers during the 2022 NFL Draft. Prior to being drafted, he attended North Carolina State University where he was named a member of the first-team All-ACC and an NCAA All-American in 2021. Due to his tenacity, he was voted "the most feared lineman in the ACC" by The Atlantic magazine. 

Before Fame

He graduated from Providence Day College Preparatory School in 2019. While in high school, he was a wrestler and he also ran track. 

Trivia

His first name, Ikemefuna, means "My strength is not in vain" in Nigerian. 

Family Life

He grew up living with his parents and his twin brother, Osita, in North Carolina. He is the son of a former college basketball player and a former track athlete.
