Before Fame

While playing football at Damien High School in California, he received the Los Angeles Times' All-San Gabriel Valley First Team designation and was also recognized as Southern California's Inland Valley Offensive Player of the Year.

Trivia

He briefly played with the practice squads of the Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, and Detroit Lions.

He was born in Monrovia, California, and raised in LaVerne, California.
