Actor since 2004, he has held small parts in film and television. He is the younger brother of Modern Family star, Sarah Hyland.

Before Fame

He studied ballroom dancing at Pierre DuLane's Dance Studio in New York City. In 2008, he won the New York Dance Festival at Roseland Ballroom in the categories for Tango, Waltz, and Foxtrot.

Trivia

He is a medal-winning Kung Fu fighter in divisions allowing weapons.

Family Life

Both of his parents are actors and got him and his sister involved in the industry early on in their lives. His mother's name is Melissa Canaday and his father's name is Edward James Hyland.
