She made her professional acting debut in the 2018 film Madeline's Madeline. She knew at a very young age that she wanted to become an actress.

She attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She was first discovered by actress Josephine Decker at the Union County Teen Arts Festival, which lead Helena to earn a role in Madeline Madeline. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2018.
