Austrian vocalist and music teacher who was a member of the famed Von Trapp Family Singers, featured in The Sound of Music.

Before Fame

She and her sisters were students in the Ursuline convent in Salzburg-Aigen, where her father met and married Maria Augusta Kutschera, later Maria Von Trapp.

Trivia

After her career with the Von Trapp Family Singers, she became a music teacher in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Family Life

She was buried in her family's lodge in Zell am See, where her siblings, father, and step-mother were also buried.

Associated With

Christopher Plummer played the role of her father, George Von Trapp, in the film version of The Sound of Music.
