About

Nicknamed the Mother of the Egyptian Revolution, she gained media attention for offering safety and protection to young people during the 2011 Egyptian revolution. She has since founded the Ahl Masr Foundation.

Before Fame

As a child, she inherited her love of charity from her mother. Then, as an adult, she spent more than a decade working in charity, doing everything from visiting orphanages to helping poor patients pay for hospital costs.

Trivia

In 2016, she launched the Humanity Burn Free initiative to support burn victims in Egypt.

Family Life

Her mother is Saudi and her father is Egyptian. Growing up in Saudi Arabia, she moved to Egypt and married, eventually having four children.
