Mountain climber from England. She is a traditional climber, sport climber, and big wall climber. She was the first female British climber to climb a route graded E9, and a route graded 8c. On her hazel_findlay Instagram page, she has 230,000 followers who can see her climbing videos and life as an athlete. 

Before Fame

She started to climb with her dad when she was just 6-years-old. The first route they did was the sea cliffs of Pembrokeshire. She became a six time junior rock climbing champion. 

Trivia

She has free climbed El Capitán four times on different routes and is a pioneer as a female on other routes. Climbing magazine gave her a Golden Piton Award for traditional climbing in 2013. 

Family Life

She is from England. Her dad is climber, Steve Findlay. Her husband is Angus Kille, who is also a climber, and they have a daughter named Aliette. 

Associated With

In 2022 while climbing with Alex Honnold, she made a first free ascent of Ingmikortilaq. It's a 3,750-foot wall and one of the world's tallest monoliths located in Greenland.
