Azerbaijani actress and folk, opera, and pop singer. A graduate of the Azerbaijan State Conservatoire, she was named Azerbaijan's "People's Artist" in the early 1940s.

Before Fame

She earned a degree in teaching before joining the Azerbaijan Opera Theatre.

She and her husband, Huseyn Rzayev, had three children together.
