Starting his racing career in Ireland, he took the International Gold Cup races at Oliver's Mount, Scarborough three years in a row.

Trivia

In 2011 he began a series of appearances in documentaries about his racing and his off-the track attempt to recreate Industrial Revolution technology.

Family Life

He was born in the village of Kirmington, in Lincolnshire, England. He and his girlfriend Sharon Comiskey welcomed a daughter named Dottie in October 2017.
