Family Life

He grew up in Los Angeles in a family of entertainers; his parents, Ryan O'Neal and Joanna Moore, were both actors, and his sister, Tatum O'Neal, won an Academy Award at the age of ten for her role in Paper Moon.

Associated With

O'Neal was convicted of negligent boat operation after a boat he was piloting was involved in an accident that resulted in the death of director Francis Ford Coppola's son Gian-Carlo Coppola.
