Canadian bassist and songwriter most famous for his work with The Tragically Hip. The band had 9 number one albums throughout its career. He began focusing on his solo career after The Tragically Hip disbanded due to the death of Gordon Downie.

Before Fame

He and Rob Baker formed The Tragically Hip in 1994 while attending Kingston Collegiate. 

Trivia

The Tragically Hip became the fourth best-selling band in Canada. He produced four records for James McKenty. He plays a G&L SB-1.

Family Life

His son, Elliot, plays bass for him on tour.
