Before Fame

He played with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra when he was eleven and joined the New York Philharmonic when he was eighteen as concertmaster.

Trivia

He has played violin for many movie soundtracks, such as The Untouchables, Aladdin, and Interview with the Vampire.

Family Life

He married Karen Dreyfus, who is also a violinist, and they founded The Lyric Piano Quartet at Queens College.
