His reported kiss and online correspondence with Maddie Ziegler on Valentine's Day created quite a stir on the Dance Moms episode entitled "Boy Crazy, Mom Crazy." He has been an assistant at the Velocity Dance Convention. His Instagram handle is @gino__cosculluela.

He competed alongside his brother, Kevin, and his sister, Angela, on America's Got Talent.
