Before Fame

He is from Greenville, Florida, where he played football and ran track at Madison County High School. He went on to play college football for the Florida State University. 

Trivia

Parade Magazine gave him first-team All-American honors and second-team USA Today All-America honors.

Family Life

He had two children with his wife Shavelle. 

Associated With

He became the Buccaneers' starting weakside linebacker in 2009, taking over for Derrick Brooks, who was one of his idols.
