Left-handed pitcher and athlete that was originally taken by the Chicago White Sox as a first round pick in the 2020 MLB draft. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at the University of Tennessee. He pitched in just 36 games during his collegiate baseball career. 

Before Fame

He is a graduate of Ocean Springs High School. As a senior in high school, was initially drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers.

Trivia

In the year 2020, he became the first player from his draft class to be promoted to the major leagues. In fact, he is just the 22nd baseball player ever to go straight from the draft to the majors. He is a very large man, standing 6'6" tall and weighing close to 250 pounds.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
