Garrett Cooper

Professional first baseman and right fielder that was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers during the sixth round of the 2013 Major League Draft. He was named a National League All-Star in 2022 while playing for the Miami Marlins. During his professional career, he has also played for the New York Yankees. 

Before Fame

He first began his professional career playing for the Helena Brewers. He was later promoted to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers. 

Trivia

He made his official major league debut playing against the Boston Red Sox on July 14, 2017, as a member of the Yankees. A few days later, he collected his first MLB hit on July 16th. 

Family Life

He grew up living with his family in the Torrance, California area. He is the youngest of seven siblings.
