Before Fame

She first started her acting career in 1961 after she made her feature film in Over the Odds. She then landed her first recurring television role as Constance Povey in The Old Wives' Tale. 

Trivia

She is also known for her stage acting career and has performed in several productions at the Royal National Theatre including The Seagull, Pericles, and Broken Glass. 

Family Life

She was born in London where she was raised by her father Joseph and her mother Letitia.
