Mexican actress and producer who became famous for her role as Doña Florinda in the comedy series El Chavo del Ocho. As an actress, she made over a dozen appearances on camera, over the course of nearly 50 years.

She appeared early in her career in the television series El chapulín Colorado.

Trivia

She both produced and acted in Milagro y Magia, a Mexican telenovela. She appeared in nearly 700 episodes of the sketch comedy TV series Chespirito. 

Family Life

She was married to director and screenwriter Roberto Gomez Bolanos from 2004 until his death in 2014.
