Empress Njamah

Nollywood film actress most known by her role as Cynthia in the 2011 drama film Count On Me. She has also earned recognition for her roles in the films June and Heartbeats. In addition to acting, she has also received credits as a writer during her career. 

Before Fame

Prior to her acting career, she attended Olabisi Onabanjo University. She officially began her acting career in 1995. 

Trivia

Due to her highly-acclaimed performance in the film Count On Me, she received a nomination for 'Best Actress in a Supporting Role during the 2012 African Movie Academy Awards. She lost the award to the Oscar-winning film actress Terry Pheto. 

Family Life

She grew up living with her family in Njaba, Nigeria. She was born of Nigerian and Cameroonian descent.

She co-starred alongside Uche Jombo in the 2000 film Girls Hostel.
