Before weightlifting and CrossFit, she was a competitive swimmer. She studied sport and exercise science at Loughborough University.

She began a fitness coaching brand called YES. She is known as Dynamite from the British TV endurance sports game show Gladiators. She enjoys singing and has written and posted original songs.
