Emily Engstler

About

Professional small forward, athlete, and power forward who was originally selected by the Indiana Fever as a first-round pick in the 2022 WNBA draft. She was later acquired by the Washington Mystics in the year 2024. She has also played for the Minnesota Lynx during her professional WNBA career. 

Before Fame

She was considered a five-star recruit prior to committing to Syracuse University. She eventually transferred to the University of Louisville in the year 2021. 

Trivia

In addition to her WNBA career, she has also played for the United States women's national 3x3 team. As a member of Team USA, she placed silver during the 2022 FIBA 3x3 U-23 World Cup. She stands six feet, one inch tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds.

She grew up living with her family in Queens, New York. Her parents are Marilyn and William Engstler.
