Former royal body double for Queen Elizabeth II. She acted as the Queen's stand-in for rehearsals for state dinners, royal engagements, and the State Opening of Parliament. She acted in this capacity for over 30 years and did not accept payment for her services.

Before Fame

While working at the BBC, a producer conveyed to her that the sun was in the Queen's eyes as she stood for a ceremony, and Slack offered to stand in her place. This led to her becoming the Queen's stand-in when needed.

Trivia

Although she does not resemble Queen Elizabeth II up close, she is the same height and stature so the difference is said to be negligible from afar.
