Before Fame

She studied theater and performing arts at the Professional Children's School prior to finding fame as a professional performer and actress. Rubin was born in New York City and raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. 

Trivia

She made her Broadway debut in the 2019 revival of The Rose Tattoo. She is also the star of the Hulu series The Girl from Plainville, which debuted in the year 2022.
