Professional infielder and outfielder that was signed by the San Francisco Giants as an international free agent in 2006. He signed a contract with the Atlanta Braves in January 2021. He was a member of the World Series-winning Giants team in 2014.

He began his professional career playing for the Giants' rookie affiliate team the DSL Giants.

He made his major league debut playing against the Arizona Diamondbacks on September 8, 2013 as a member of the Giants.

He is a native of Miranda, Venezuela. He lives with his wife, Vielimar, and their daughter.
