American musician best known for founding the R&B group Tony! Toni! Toné!, which sold over six million albums and had 14 charting singles between 1998 and 2008. His group's song "Anniversary" has gained over 40 million streams on Spotify. 

Before Fame

He grew up in Oakland, California, where he established his business Grass Roots Entertainment and his recording studio House of Music. 

Trivia

He worked with burgeoning artists like Destiny's Child and Keyshia Cole, and he was partly responsible for the Hyphy movement in Oakland.

Family Life

He married his wife, Michelle, in 2001 and they had three children. She filed for divorce in 2013.
