On his doctorphabs TikTok account, he is known for sharing a glimpse of his neurosurgery residency journey with over 130,000 followers, offering a realistic perspective into the obstacles and victories of medical training. His content includes day-in-the-life vlogs and educational videos designed to make complex topics in neuroscience and neurosurgery more accessible and easier to understand for a broader audience. He is a founding member of the Society of Haitian Neuroscientists and a member of the Global Neurosurgery Junior Committee at the World Federation of Neurological Societies, which works to expand neurosurgical care around the globe.  

Before Fame

After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience & Psychology from Wesleyan University, he went on to obtain his Doctor of Medicine degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2020.

He fluently speaks three different languages. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on a variety of topics including craniopharyngioma management and diversity within neurosurgical training programs.

Family Life

He is the proud son of Haitian immigrants. He and his wife, Dr. Anastasia Kārkliņa Gabriel, married on June 26, 2021.
