He made his acting debut at age 11 on a 1996 episode of the series The X-Files.

He played roles in the 2013 films Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters and Stage Fright. Throughout his career, he has earned over 50 credits as an actor. Outside of acting, he has released solo music as a recording artist.

He has been romantically linked to Colombian singer, Ashton Lunceford and has an older brother named Gregory.
