Doreen Mantle

South African actress who starred as Jean Warboys on the British sitcom One Foot in the Grave. She later played Joy Fishwick on the soap opera Coronation Street. Her film credits include Yentl, In Love and War, and 55 Steps.

Family Life

She was born to Bernard and Hilda Mantle. She has two sons. Mantle married Graham Smith in 1953, but they would later divorce. From the mid-1990s on, she was a resident of Highgate, London.
