Don Powell

About

Drummer best known as a longtime member of the rock band Slade. He co-wrote many of their biggest hits, including 1972's "Look Wot You Dun."

Before Fame

He was an amateur boxer who worked as a metallurgist.

Trivia

In July 1973, he survived a near-fatal car accident which left him in a coma for six days.

He married a Danish woman named Hanna.
