Dynamic social issues photographer whose photos shot purely on his iPhone have earned him more than 850,000 fans on Instagram. He has become known for his stunning portraits and other photos of the average citizens of his home nation Russia.

Before Fame

Though his youth was trademarked by drug use, at sixteen he found an interest in journalism and began writing for local newspapers. By twenty, many of his friends were imprisoned or dead and he'd moved to Moscow to begin writing for bigger papers.

Trivia

He earned a $10,000 grant from Instagram and Getty Images to document the orphans living in his hometown of Pskov, Russia.
