Emmy Award-winning costume designer and visual artist who is known for his work in the world of drag fashion. He is famous for vibrant colors, textures, and designs. He has designed for Asia O'Hara, Honey Davenport, and Jinkx Monsoon.

Before Fame

At the young age of 15, he started attending drag shows. He studied fashion design in college.

Trivia

In the year 2016, he collaborated with Sasha Velour on season nine of RuPaul's Drag Race. He designed Shangela Laquifa Wadley's 2019 Oscars look. In September 2019, Montoya's costumes were part of the world premiere of Joseph Keckler's Let Me Die, "a genre-bending performance" opera performed as part of Opera Philadelphia's O19 festival.

Family Life

At 10, he and his family moved from Peru to Miami. 

Associated With

Amanda Lepore was his muse. He said Princess Diana's wedding dress was an early inspiration.
