Acclaimed ESPN reporter best known as a beat writer for the Chicago Bears, which he also covered for ESPN 1000 radio. He was a regular guest on programs including SportsCenter, First Take, ESPNEWS, and Outside the Lines. He also served as the co-host of Chicago's Gamenight and appeared frequently on Waddle & Silvy. Additionally, he performed as a TV analyst for men's basketball at Loyola University and served as a sports reporter for ABC 7 Chicago.

Before Fame

He graduated from Buffalo Grove High School before going on to earn his degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He went on to join the team at ESPN in 2001.

Trivia

He co-founded the Vaughn McClure Foundation, which aimed to support students studying journalism as well as cancer research. He played a pivotal role in the organization of the foundation's inaugural fundraising gala.

Family Life

He was born to parents George and Sandy Dickerson. His wife, Caitlin, tragically passed away two years prior to his own passing in 2021 due to colon cancer. They shared a son named Parker.
