Dexter King

About

Actor, filmmaker, and author best known as the son of Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King, Jr. He appeared in the 1978 film, King, and the 2002 film, The Rosa Parks Story.

Before Fame

He left Morehouse College to pursue a career in film.

Trivia

He was sued by family members for his alleged misuse use of funds from the Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King estates.

Family Life

He has two sisters, Yolanda and Bernice, and a brother, Martin III.

Associated With

He met with James Earl Ray, his father's accused assassin, and believed Ray's claim that he was not involved in the murder of Martin Luther King, Jr.
