Most well known for winning the German reality series Ich Bin Ein Star – Holt Mich Hier Raus! She is also notable for her work with Munich, Germany's Bavarian State Opera, as well as for her memoirs Bestseller Einer Diva: Seit Jahren Vergriffen (1997) and Eva Go Home! Eine Streitschrift (2007).

Before Fame

After training as a ballerina at Germany's Berliner Tanzakademie, she began performing with the Deutsche Oper Berlin.

Trivia

In the early 1980s, she took Roman Catholicism-based theology courses.

Family Life

Her more than decade-long relationship with Prince Heinrich of Hanover produced a son named Oscar.
