Derik Queen

About

Former Maryland Terrapin that played college basketball at the University of Maryland during the 2024 NCAA season. That very same season, he was named the Big 10 Freshman of the Year. He was later drafted by the New Orleans Pelicans with the 13th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. 

Before Fame

He initially began his high school basketball career at St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland. Following his freshman season, he then transferred to Monteverde Academy. 

Trivia

Before every basketball game he plays in, he always has to eat and listen to music. In particular, he loves to listen to Future and Lil Baby.

He grew up living along with his parents.
