Before Fame

He was raised in Keizer, Oregon and learned from local drummers. His first recording was with Wild Dogs on their eponymous 1983 album.

Trivia

He became a member of the band Journey, working with them on such albums as 2001's Arrival, 2002's Red 13, and 2005's Generations.

Family Life

His son with his wife Julie, Roman Jude, was born on May 8, 2005. He has another child with his wife as well.
