Davey Muise

Vocalist and former schoolteacher most famous as the frontman of the Boston-based punk and post-hardcore band Vanna, known for albums like 2014's VOID. In addition to music, he has turned his experiences with addiction and depression into a successful career as a public speaker.

Before Fame

He performed with various bands throughout high school. He sang for the band Seeker Destroyer before being recruited by the other members of Vanna, who were looking for a replacement for their recently-departed singer Chris Preece in 2009.

Trivia

He has been heavily involved with the nonprofit organization Hope for the Day, which seeks to use the arts as a means of suicide prevention among young people.

Family Life

He was adopted as a baby. He got married in October 2012.
